To sustain action means to grow, become more viable and more effective, and to have a lasting impact within a community. It is vital for Official Language minority organizations to take the time to evaluate and reflect on past or ongoing initiatives, actions and programs. The Sustain Action category contains advice on how to maintain and solidify your organization, develop democratic governance, implement training programs for new volunteers, and meet new challenges and obstacles as the organization matures. Remember to show appreciation towards volunteers and to celebrate victories, no matter how small.
