[edit] Focus group trial session
[edit] Process
Date: Friday, May 29th
Type: Tripartite moderator focus group - one moderator ensures the session progresses smoothly (Mel), while another ensures that all the topics are covered (Ricky) and another focuses on the technology component of the session (David)
Introduction: This session is a run through of the Activist Den as if you were our focus group. We want to emphasize the Activist Den, also refered to the Den, site or wiki, is a prototype and the design, this means the logo, domain name and site in general are subject to change. Through this process we hope to get guidance on the methodology we are using in conducting our focus group, as well as insight on the questions we have created and ultimately, we want your general feedback of the Activist Den. Our evaluation is formative and qualitative. This means that our primary point is to gather information that helps us fine-tune and improve its ongoing efforts and that the information we are collecting is by design descriptive.
Objective: The aim of the focus group session is to evaluate the quality of content, navigation and participatory quality of the Activist Den, as well as ensure participants can easily determine the purpose of the site.
